WW1 Pair, WW2 DM and original certificates etc Pte Wilson Devonshire Regt

WW1 British War & Victory Medals named 291956 PTE D WILSON DEVON R & WW2 Defence Medal unnamed as issued. Comes with his original passport, transfer to reserve form z 21, unit register card, certificate of employment form z 18 & work certificate from his commanding officer which confirms how good he was at being a clerk, together with a life saving medallion named to him.

David Wilson born 14th Jul 1877 in London and was a civil servant served in France with the Devonshire Regt numbered 291956. He transferred at some stage to the Labour Corps 754 Area Employment Company numbered 374502 and served as a Camp Warden and then a clerk. He had previously qualified as a drill instructor. He spent nearly two years in the front line and nearly 2 1/2 years in service.
