1914 Star WIA SWB Pte T W Bradshaw 2 Yorks & Lancs Regt

1914 Star named 7677 PTE T W BRADSHAW 2/YORK & LANC R.Pte William Bradshaw was from Sheffield and he was a labourer.He enlisted in 1904 and went to India in 1905 and back in 1907 and then to army reserves till call up in 1914. His pre-WW1 service saw being charged drunk and imprisonment .He went to France on 10th September 1914 and his service papers show he was wounded in action, gun shot wound to Abdomen (removed bullet himself).His wound must have been bad as never made it back and was released unfit in 1917.He is entitled to a Silver War Badge number 302167.
