MM LCpl Hopton 14th Glos & KIA

Military Medal named 265907 LCPL A E HOPTON 14/GLOUC R.Albert laned in France with the 1/6th Glosters on 31st March 1915. At some time he joined the 14th Glosters and was awarded the MM for actions on the 22nd Oct 1917 at Houlthulst Forest.L/Cpl Hopton was wounded in action probably at the same time of the MM as he died from his wounds on the 21st Nov 1917.The LG mentions he was from Bristol.
