Frederick landed in France with the 2nd Battalion Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire Regt on 14th Nov 1914 but by 1st Aug 1915 he was declared Died from his wounds. He died aged 33 the late son of Samuel & Sarah Wells of Leicester. He is buried at Boulogne Cemetery.
