Jeans Percy Smith was born in 1881 in Devies, Wiltshire and was a Bricklayer living at 1 Forty Acres, Devies married with a Son aged 2 in 1911. He enlisted into the 8th Somerset Light Infantry and was mortally wounded and died from his wounds on 25th or 28th Dec 1917 and is buried at Outtersteene Cemetry. He was formerly in the Devonshire Regt numbered 44026.
