Henry Charles Nugent Daniell born 26th Aug 1869 born in Ahmedungger, Bantay, Presidency, India and was a Stockbroker living in Frowick, Herts. He was part of the Hertfordshire Imperial Yeomanry before the war and when war was declared joined the 1/1st Hertfordshire Yeomanry from 1914 to May 1916 serving in Egypt, Gallipoli and Dardanelles. He then joined the 3/1st Hertfordshire Yeomanry (not sure whether he was wounded or sick as report trench foot in a diary in Oct 1915 near Chocolate Hill) May 1916 to Feb 1917 and then into the 6th Reserve Regiment of Cavalry from Feb 1917 to Nov 1917. This is where it goes cold so further research.
Henry died on 13th July 1925 aged 56 years old. Sadly his only Son John Henry Daniell was killed in WW2 serving with the RASC in Burma.
