Richard Wilson born in St Paul, Bristol around 1845 and was a labourer who enlisted into the 2nd Foot in May 1866 aged 21 years old. He was numbered 1120 and went to India in July 1866 till April 1879 when they returned home. He left the regiment in May 1887 after 21 years service and was awarded the LS&GC medal.
