Willie Place born 1893 in Hunslet, Yorkshire was a boot repairer living in Leeds when he enlisted into the 10th West Yorkshire Regt numbered 25331. He was serving in France in C Coy on the 1st July 1916 he was killed in action. Entitled to a pair of medals.
